In an previous post, I wrote about Thai yoga and its use in meditation. But what is meditation, really? Meditation is a highly misunderstood concept. In today’s world, anyone who breathes is supposed to be fit for meditation. Even people who haven’t the slightest interest in spiritual progress say they “meditate” to reduce stress and to relax. We even hear it said that “anyone can meditate” and that “there’s no right or wrong way to meditate.” Yet, if ancient scriptures have any merit in them, that is very far from the truth.
